Ushpinderji,
Murmure tha khillan donna parshad thee jugaa lenday ha, jidoi thaaja parshad nahi ban sukda. Murmure or khillan donna chawal dhay banne ha. Murmure da swad saada (plain) hunda aur safaat, tha shotaa size da hai. Khillan da swad mitha (sweet) hunda aur shota, gol, safaat papri jasaa dikta.
Translation: Murmure and khillan are both used as parshad when fresh parshad is not available or not able to be made. Murmure and khillan are both made from puffed rice. Murmure has a plain taste and is a white small puffed rice crisp (like rice crispies); they are very light in texture.  Khillan is a white, round, sweetened roasted rice crisp.
